I was first introduced to Craniosacral Therapy by a friend 15 years ago, who recommended this approach for both me and my son following what was a complicated birth. We found it to be both very gentle but profound. To be listened to on a subtle but deep level can have long lasting benefits. I continue to receive sessions as part of my continued personal and professional development and I now get to share the many benefits of this work as a practitioner.

I also work as a clinical pilates teacher and currently teach in Grimsby at Scartho Village Community Centre.

I have lived locally in Grimsby for most of my life. I am married and a mum of two older teenage children. I'm in my early 50s now, and when I'm not working I enjoy walking, gardening, reading and try to go away on retreat each year to immerse myself in a movement practice (Authentic Movement) that I love. One of my favourite poets Mary Oliver speaks to this in her poem Wild Geese:

"You do not have to be good.

You do not have to walk on your knees

for a hundred miles through the desert repenting.

You only have to let the soft animal of your body

 love what it loves."

Poetry for me just captures so much and is one of my favourite ways to write and reflect.
